Detoxique Manchester was founded following a personal turning point. After being diagnosed with a chronic nervous system condition characterised by widespread pain and fatigue. Our founder began questioning the everyday products used at home and on the body. What followed was years of research into ingredient transparency, environmental load, and the cumulative impact of modern consumer goods.
It quickly became clear how complex and misleading product labelling had become. Lengthy ingredient lists, multiple names for the same compounds, and marketing language designed to reassure rather than inform.
